From 01 April, three days with departure from Riposto, navigating along the south-eastern Sicilian coast, passing Augusta to discover Syracuse, city of the sea, which stretches further out into the sea with the Island of Ortigia. Behind Ortigia stretches Acradina, as it was called in ancient times, the flat area adjoining Ortigia and then Neaù polis, a “new” area where the theatre, l’Orecchio di Dionisio (“Ear of Dionysius”) and the ‘latomìa’ (old stone quarry)of Paradise – one of the most beautiful, and to the east, the area of Tyche which recalls the presence of a temple dedicated to the Goddess of Fortune.
