From 23rd to 25th June, there is a procession along the streets decorated with “arches”, that is supports for coloured lights in the shape of flowers or animals, and all accompanied by a musical band. There is a theatrical parody of the sword-fishing which was carried out in the Straits of Messina, called “U pisci a mari”. There is also a fish and fish-tasting festival.
